“Sunday Fundays” with the girls from Oakland Baptist Church is where the FUN STUFF is happening.
Sunday Funday
October 23, 2022 we loaded up the people mover and headed to Blue Mountain, Mississippi, to Pumpkin Patch Farms for our October, Sunday Funday. It was a little over an hour drive from Oakland Baptist in Corinth, MS. The scenery was breathtaking with all the views of the leaves changing colors.

After taking the required group photo…….we headed to the barn to order our food. There was a table with order forms out front. You marked what you wanted then turned it in inside the barn when you paid. The turnaround was really quick. I had the hamburger and it was pretty good.
Relaxed Fun for Everyone
Lots of places to sit around and just take it all in. Kids running everywhere and everyone having fun. I didn’t get a picture of the food, pavilion, or picnic tables where we ate, but there was plenty of room for everyone.

Decisions……
Hay Maze Fun…Or Not
Some of the girls loved the hay maze and some were not so much a fan. At one point I did use my Life 360 app to see where I was in the maze. (Is that cheating?) There was a lot of squealing and talking that went on as they found their way back to the entrance.
Headed Back
We loaded up on the wagons that were always transporting back and forth and headed back to the entrance area. It was a very well run system.
Off to the Games
The girls dropped their pumpkins off at Mrs. Kelley’s car before heading over to the game area. They each had their favorites. We could have spent a lot more time here.
Time to Leave
The girls (and adults) stopped in the barn for a snack and to buy treats to take home. It was a super fun trip and hopefully when we plan next year we can plan to stay longer. We made it back to Oakland by 5:00 for D groups, but the girls were a lot less energetic than usual. I think they were TIRED!!!
