Loveless Cafe and Motel

Late Afternoon Lunch

After flying into Nashville from a 4 day weekend in Colorado, it was probably not the best time to try and eat at Loveless Cafe. However, it was our 30th anniversary and we decided to stop by and check it out before heading home.

Was it worth the wait??

There was an hour wait and we were so tired. However, Travis knew that I had been wanting to eat here for a while so the decision was made to wait. I had heard a lot of good things about the food and atmosphere. We walked around looking at all the other buildings on the grounds as we waited.

The Outfitters Gift Shop

Beautiful day to sit outside

Check out the map in the link

So many buildings to look in. From the General Store, The Gift Shop, The Barn, The Cafe…… There is actually a map link further down this page.

Travis was such a good sport. He was so tired!!!!!!

History of Loveless Cafe

The History of Loveless Cafe can be read here: https://www.lovelesscafe.com/about/history/. Very interesting and cool how this landmark first started in 1951. The walls are decorated with pictures of people who have eaten here over the years. You can also see the hours, the menu, and merchandise.

MEATLOAF and CHICKEN

I had the meatloaf, fried green tomatoes and sweet potatoes. Travis tried the fried chicken, fried okra and hashbrown casserole. Did you see the repeated word “fried?” We drank sweet tea and did NOT have room for desert.

We will be BACK. On a day that we are not so tired and can enjoy a great DESSERT!!!!!
