Fun at Earl’s

We had a great morning coaching our 1st and 2nd grade girls’ Upwards team. When the game ended, we were ready to head out on our Saturday Adventure to Crump, TN. I asked Travis if we could swing by Sogie Nutrition to purchase some Valentines earrings that I REALLY NEEDED. He kinda side eyed me and said, “Yes, because that is so on the way.” There was much sarcasm involved but he graciously drove me by there and I ended up with some great earrings from the clearance basket. We go to see some really great scenery on the way from Wenasoga, MS to Crump, TN that would not have seen if we had we not made the detour.

We had heard a lot about Earl’s through word of mouth from friends and on FB so we had to give it a try. It is about a 40-minute drive from Corinth, MS to Crump, TN. (I’m not sure how long it took us with the detour to get Valentine Earrings.)

He was HUNGRY!!

I will say our ballgame ended at 1:00 and we arrived at 2:30 so………….. The building on the outside looked like it might could have been a car garage, but the inside really was the EYE CATCHER. It was so neat with its cool garage decor. There was a line to be seated so we told them we would sit at the first available spot. We ended up on barstools sitting beside a guy who was by himself. He and Travis had great conversation about where they go to church and places that they recommend going to eat. He and his wife like to travel and eat (Sound familiar ???)

The Menu was set up with vocabulary that you would see in a real garage. The appetizers were labeled “Jumpstarts.” We had the ZOOM ZOOM Shrimp. It was fabulous. The kid’s menu was labeled ‘Learner’s Permit.” Desserts were “Finish Line.” I personally filled my tank with the small block. 2 of the 4 oz smashed patties (1/2 lb) served on brioche bun. I added and egg and jalapenos to mine. Travis filled his tank with the small block but got it dressed like the Big Block. There were complimentary pork skins with a great dipping sauce.

We finished up at Earl’s about 3:30. There was no room for any type of dessert at this point. I was sooo full. Since we had already been around the world to get here, we decided to keep going on to Savannah to the shoe store. Of course, TRAVIS found a pair. After leaving Savannah to go home, we went through Pickwick and passed the Outpost. You can’t drive by the Outpost without stopping at the Frosty Mug to get some Blue Bell Ice Cream. MY FAVORITE. Perfect way to end a great ADVENTURE!!!!!
